It’s another FRESH week, and with that the freedom to practice how to best take care of ourselves in the moments we’re able to! (aka. ALWAYS) For me, I’m home and rooting into mindful movement and returning to my yoga mat a little bit each day, something I never regret. I’ve felt a little disconnected and fatigue from all of the zoom yoga, and in reality the best part of my yoga practice to date has been the energy felt inside a clean studio with like-minded souls.

It’s this new reality which does offer access to much more through technology, but also strips away the human interaction in person. I’m on a mission this month in May to truly CONNECT with my tribe, my colleagues, my potential dates, my neighbors, really to be human, and interact. It’s not a surprise that people have lost a bit of the drive not to mention skill of being in person. Who would have ever thought we’d be in such a strange place? It’s a great challenge though, so here we go, May ! Let’s have some fun!

I wanted to focus the topic this week around the definition of freedom in our lives. What does that mean when you hear the word? How would you describe your most authentic feeling towards it? Do you long for it? Are you fearful how you’d take off like wildfire in a new direction? Have you been depriving yourself or your loved ones of it? Simple moments like taking a walk for 20 minutes in nature can provide such a meaningful connection back to ourselves, and as we move to being in full swing again, it’s essential that we HONOR our needs individually – whether you are single, married, divorced, widowed or however you classify yourself ! BOTTOM LINE- it’s NEEDED ! ! !

Freedom can apply to our daily life choices, for example what type of clothing to wear if you’re heading out on a weekend, or what to eat or drink at a restaurant? On a grander scale it can look like big life choices like ending a relationship, or deciding to turn another corner in your career and completely start over. Freedom is liberating, it is the cornerstone of my operating system personally, and from the place I write today, how I arrived precisely where I’am today.

I listened to my intuition and followed the light guiding me- to work for myself, to begin coaching others, to beat to my own drum, all the while thriving and feeling more in control and at peace than ever before. I invite you to ask yourself a very FUN question, and perhaps just think about it, or better yet, grab a pen and paper, and ask yourself….

WHAT WOULD I DO EACH DAY IF I HAD UNLIMITED TIME, UNLIMITED RESOURCES AND UNLIMITED MONEY??

Open your heart and listen to the voice inside, and trust that it’s the best source of information you’ll ever need as you move through this world.

All of my light and blessings,

XO
